PRODAR obtains Second Place in Latin American Award Ceremony
Our project “Heading Towards a Safe Smart Port” presented by PRODAR, with the authorization of the administration of the Manzanillo National Port System (ASIPONA Manzanillo), has achieved outstanding recognition by obtaining Second Place in the prestigious “Best Latin American Security Project” contest, organized by the Latin American Security Association (ALAS). This event aims to recognize and promote excellence in security projects throughout Latin America.

The award ceremony took place on August 16 in the city of Bogotá Colombia, where the project was honored with a recognition plate and a statuette as a symbol of its outstanding achievement in the field of security. This recognition is a testimony to the commitment and innovation of PRODAR and ASIPONA Manzanillo in guaranteeing the comprehensive security of port operations.
The ALAS “Best Latin American Security Project” contest is a platform that recognizes and rewards the efforts of security projects which contribute significantly to the protection of people, assets and property throughout the region. The evaluation criteria faced aspects such as technological innovation, contribution to safety, originality, social impact, and installation quality.
